I began my career as an Exercise Physiologist in Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation. This experience was important in my career, my work as I earned my certificate as a Massage Practitioner from Potomac Massage Training Institute was built upon rehabilitation and corrective therapies. After practicing Massage for 14 years I began to teach with Rising Spirit Institute in Atlanta GA, then Albany Therapeutic Education Center. I have had experience practicing in the Chiropractic setting, sports rehabilitation, luxury spa, franchise management and private practice. I am an Approved Provider with NCBTMB and teach private courses building technique within clinics in the Hampton Roads area and instructing courses with Centura College. Nearly 21 years in the health and wellness field I love what I do and I never feel as though I am working, just sharing love and light.
Compassion
Refers to the feeling of closeness with family or friends. Sometimes compassion carries a sense of pity. This is wrong, any love or compassion which entails looking down on another...is not compassion. To be genuine, compassion must be based on respect for the other, and the realization that others have the right to be happy and overcome suffering, just as you. On this basis you can see that others are suffering and you have a genuine sense of concern for them.

Health Education
Community Wellness
I offer Health Education through community events and corporate wellness programs. I also offer one on one Diabetes self-care management education & training with individuals newly diagnosed with Diabetes. As a Certified Health Educator Specialist, I find joy in sharing practical tips in nutrition, daily self care and incorporating healthy choices to meet health goals.
Bodywork
Massage is the foundation of my work as a wellness practitioner. I still practice massage for private clientele, teaching student massage therapists and licensed massage practitioners. Teaching evidenced based techniques brings me joy and provides an opportunity for me to share my passion for facilitating healing and giving back to the industry that has given so much to me.
